Oh friends and family... after reading this blog you probably won't believe that I am the same person.
Living in Ferrol for about 3.5 months now, I am really surprised how quickly I have adjusted.
You know you are becoming more Spanish...
WHEN...
1) Waking up before 1000 is early.
2) You drop something there's a 50/50 chance that mierda will come out of your mouth.
3) Someone is talking to you and you've said "vale" more than 3 times in a 3 second period.
4) You actually crave potatoes for lunch AND dinner
5) Siesta is a REQUIREMENT.
6) You think American coffee is sh*t.
7) Dinner before 2130 is NOT acceptable.
8) You send more What's app messages than SMS.
