Ever had your favorite thing? That you pretty much wore everywhere...

Doesn't matter when, where it was something you wore...

For me it was these Oakley glasses - who unfortunately is no longer with us.

I bought these glasses at the Oakley outlet in DC.

I've worn them around Oahu, different islands and even overseas.

They were my old time favorite.

One of the things that Hawai'i is known for worldwide is our beaches.

While most people recognize our white sand beaches...

We also have other colored sand beaches.

Green sand and black sand beaches - which can be found on the Big Island.

I've been more prone to seeing different interpretations on christmas trees.

One thing I really like about photos is that it captures a moment - a snapshot of our life.

One thing that I don't like about photos is when people delete photos.  Personally, I prefer to keep all of mine - good and the bad - the clean shaven and the bearded face - the posed and the random.

Photos are meant to capture different moments in our lives - even the WTF was I thinking moments!

Yes - the title of this blog is darky malarky.

It was a nickname I received while I was traveling in Morocco.

In Morocco, I spent most of my time surfing - in Tamraght.

By most, I mean I was in the water at least 4-6 hours a day, everyday.

Note to self - wear sunblock.
