Most people when they think of Japanese food - think of sushi. One of the best and most affordable places to eat in Waikiki is Marukame Udon (thick noodles).
For most people, the udon should be sufficient for a meal (lunch or dinner), but in this case me and my friend decided to share our udon (Bukakke Udon) and also get different tempuras.
The vegetable ball and the chicken tempura are my absolute favorite. The potato one was ok.
All of this and a drink for $12.60 - divided by 2 = $6.30.
