ESLTalk - EOI Advanced English Summer Course - 2014

I've been teaching for 2 years now, as a language assistant.  Funny thing is if you asked my friends two years ago if I'd make a good English teacher - most of them would probably laugh in your face.

Now, two years later, I had my own class, the EOI Advanced English Summer Course and it was awesome.  Having my own class, with my lessons, my activities and my rules really allowed me to teach English in a different way.

Fortunately, my students were receptive to my crazy antics and I've seen them improve and feel more comfortable in general with English.

Thanks for having me, EOI and hopefully see you next summer!

Hawaii Presentation... May 06, 2014

Yikes, I am crazy behind on blogging and YouTube videos!

Today, I gave a presentation about Hawaii.

It's really hard to talk about one of the most awesome places in the world in just 1 hour..

Anywho, here is the video I showed in the presentation and a link to the presentation as well...

Don't forget to subscribe!

ESLTalk - Café con leche with Max - Introduction

Aloha everyone!

Well, school has started again and I can't wait to meet all my new students!

One of the main feedback I received from my students is they don't always have access to native speakers.  Well, worry no more.

Starting this week, I will start a YouTube bi-monthly publication staring me (of course! haha) and one of my friends from around the world (Americans, Canadians, Australians and Britons).

You'll have the opportunity to get to know more about me and my friends from all walks of life: fellow world travelers, lawyers, teachers, yoga masters, and other types of professionals!

Don't be shy - if there is a word or phrase you don't understand - write a comment!

Here is the introduction video (to explain a bit about the program!)
