Hey guys,
Sorry I haven't updated my blog in a while, internet here is BOO! and I'm pretty much using my phone to tether and access the internet.
I've lost some weight since I started Insanity - and I am probably one of rare people who is not happy about it. I have stuck to the work out, but not strictly with the food, and I have lot a lot of muscle. I may have more definition in the abdominal section, but I've lost about 1.5" to 2" around my thighs. As a cyclist, my thighs are calves are very important and I feel like they are shrinking.
I do plan on continuing on with the program, but I will start supplementing with abdominal exercises. Insanity is great, but I feel like it doesn't target the lower abdominal.
Will post more pictures on Monday!

Monthly Challenge - INSANITY - Day 15
Sorry for the delay on this post, I'm in Long Beach. Ha!
I am still sticking to the regiment of working out - still haven't followed the diet 100% (maybe 30%). Can't visit family and not eat NOM NOM food. Though, I have been quite disciplined and eat healthier options for breakfast and lunch (while they are all at work).
This post is for the Fit Test this past Monday. I didn't have a chance to post it, so here it is, nor did I have a chance to take a picture.
No worries, i'll take one next Monday! I'll try anyways - its a long weekend!
I've actually improved a lot - based on the Insanity testing.

Monthly Challenge - INSANITY - Day 8
Day 1 |
Alright...
It is the start of the 2nd week and to be honest, it hasn't been that hard. If you're in shape and use to boot camp type workouts, this isn't too bad.
The format of each workout, is in 3 sets - each increasing in speed and therefore difficulty. After the first 3 sets, you stretch, then a final 3 sets of different exercises. If you're use to working out 2-3 hours (cycling or running) this will target different sets of muscles. For me, my calves and lower back have been the most sore.
This week I've actually lost 3 pounds - something I didn't want to do, I guess I have to increase my caloric intake.
I haven't been following the diet, because generally I eat pretty healthy, my diet at home consists of chicken breast, rice, eggs, yogurt, nuts, cereal and fruits.
Day 8 |
If you have any questions about the work-out, let me know.
Shoot me an email or post them in the comments below.
The next fit test is next Monday - the time of my next update.
Starting in 2 weeks, I will start incorporating night yoga classes to increase my flexibility.

FoodTalk - Chef Poli
This past Friday was a great night for me - mostly because it involved a 5 course meal prepared by Chef Poli (YUM). Sheryll, Jessica and I started our dinner quite early 5:30 - well we are in Florida o_O
Needless to say - the food was delicious.
Try to guess the dishes?!
Which one looks the yummiest?!
Ha. I'm hungry now. Going to grad a snack.

Monthly Challenge - INSANITY - Day 1
Hey everyone,
I know, I know... what is INSANITY? Considering I was suppose to do a monthly challenge by being a vegetarian?! I was a vegetarian for a good week, then I though I wanted to be in shape for the summer season... Which will require a lot of working out and a lot of protein, so... I will continue on the vegetarian challenge another month.
INSANITY work out is a 60 day challenge that is more or less bootcamp style workout that incorporates MIT (Maximum Interval Training).
To read more about INSANITY... CLICK HERE...
Yup, I will be blogging about my experience with INSANITY over the next 60 days... giving you updates hopefully at least twice a week (I'll be posting a picture - once a week!). If you're thinking about starting this program and have any questions - let me know!?
The first day is a Fit Test... Here are my results as well as a picture of me - taken about an hour ago.
The test itself wasn't very hard - but if you're not use to doing bootcamp style workouts - it will be painful. The Fit test utilizes a lot of quads (squats, burpees, etc.)
Well thanks for reading and wish me luck!

HI to FL - Equestrian Weekend
Alright - this weekend was quite interesting, it started with a very nice dinner (which I will be blogging about tomorrow - involving way too much food)...
Most of my weekend was spent in a place with different scenery - Gainesville, Florida. Don't get me wrong Gainesville is actually a big city - housing one of the biggest colleges in Florida, but there is also country surrounding this city - which is quite nice.
I needed a change of scenery and this was exactly what the doctor ordered before school starts today. GASP!
Well, the pictures are in chronological order - the 3rd and 4th photo involve using a curry comb and a dandy brush - to get the dirt off of the horse.
Sorry so short, I am really quite exhausted.

TechTalk - Best Email Companion - Nudgemail!
Now that email is accessible everywhere - nearly on every device imaginable - one would think that there would be an easier way to set reminders.
There are many methods out there - you can put a flag an email (outlook) or put a star (gmail)... You can move it to a folder. However, none of these are time sensitive. Suppose you receive an e-bill notification that is due at the end of the month and you want a reminder on the 15th. You can flag it - but doesn't really say HEY - READ me on the 15th!
There is an easy solution. I've been using this service for almost 2 years now and I LOVE IT. It is called - NUDGEMAIL.
Great part is - no applications to install - works on every device - phone, laptop, outlook.
All you have to do is tell nudgemail when you want the email re-sent to you. Easy right?! All you do is forward an email to when you want to read the email again.
Examples:
tomorrow@nudgemail.com, tuesday@nudgemail.com, 05152012@nudgemail.com, 4h@nudgemail.com
That's about it, nudgemail pushes the email back to you on the date you specified. No more forgetting emails! just nudge it! =D
Try it out and let me know what you think!?

BlogTalk - FloriDUH
Conventional news is quite boring. Luckily for those interested in weird news from Florida, there is a blog - aptly entitled FloriDUH.
It's more interesting than most of the news you will find in the Tampa Bay Times.
Click here to read all about FLORIDUH
Sorry so short - quite busy - will update on Monday! I will be heading to Gainesville this weekend!

TechTalk - How to close your eBay account.
eBay is great - if you are a buyer.
eBay policies have been changing and changing to protect the buyer and screwing over the seller. Unfortunately, the items that I sell aren't high-margin products and I will be cancelling my account.
So... How do you cancel an account!?
Once you submit your request - eBay will keep your account open for 180 days (another reason to HATE eBay - you will be called a non-registered user and you will not be able to buy or sell on eBay)
Before you can even file for a request - make sure you don't owe eBay anything. If you've recently made a payment (such as seller fees) - you'll have to wait 30 days to file an account closure.
Alright, now we are ready to go!
First, visit (CLOSING YOUR ACCOUNT), then you'll be asked a couple of questions.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to close my account until June 1, 2012.
Ha! Will definitely update this then.
For now, you can visit http://fuckyouebay.com/ - its quite entertaining.
