Workout 1/31/2010

This was my 5th workout with my trainer and I feel that I am getting stronger.

I was able to run 3.5 miles before my work out and then hang with her.

The beginning of the workout is on a bosu. Its pretty tiring working out on this thing. You're basically balancing and trying to do exercises...

Needless to say, my okole got served and I am glad she was the one to do it!

Workout 1/24/2010

Wow! It's been quite sometime.

I am glad, I was able to break the cycle of laziness!

I worked out with my trainer on core and upper body. I ran 3.5 miles before hand to warm up.

Workout 1/14/2010

Whew... Today's workout was pretty intense in the pool...

4 x 25m in 45 sec intervals (3 times) and then 3 minutes of treading h2o (which rendered my legs numb), 3 x 50 (in faster sequence)...

Then another 100... in which I was so tired, I was going the breast stroke and backstroke...

Workout 1/12/2010

Today was my first full day of classes. I have 1 class M and W and 4 on Tu Th.

In between my classes, I was able to squeeze in 30 minutes of swimming. It was great being in the water.

The quick swim kept me awake for the rest of my classes. :]

Workout 1/10/2010

Today was the 1st day of Team Jet Swim Clinic.

We met at 8am for orientation and the first session was pretty intense.

8 x 25m at 45 second intervals. Needless to say, I was tired after that, but that was just the beginning.

Yikes, wonder what Thursday training will be like...

Workout - 1/4/2010

Today's workout was pretty standard.

I ran on the treadmill for 30 minutes, running a total of a little bit over 3.5 miles.

After that ab work...

Basically a couple of ab exercises that my trainer taught me... and yup, my abs ache.

Workout 1/2/2010

My workout today was pretty tiring.

I rode my bike to the gym... about a 15 minute bike ride, ran on the treadmill for about 20 minutes and worked out with my trainer.

She's really good. Our main focus was abs and upper body. Since I can do a lot of cardio on my own, we focus on abs and upper body.

Off to bed after a couple episodes of Heroes.

2010 - Whipping my ass into shape

Aloha all!

Long time no see!

Well this year will be different. I will be posting daily the activities I have done in the day that have contributed to a healthier and better shape me... :)))

Since I am turning 30 this year, my plan is get in the best-est shape of my life... EVER!

Today, I swam for a little bit (really small kine) at Ala Moana beach park.

That's about it... lol
